A guided brief, not a blank page
A handful of friendly questions — what the site is for, the look you like, the sections you want — instead of an empty box and a blinking cursor.
Features
You describe the place, we build the page and keep it on the internet. Here is what that covers — and the handful of things it deliberately doesn’t.
Making it
A handful of friendly questions — what the site is for, the look you like, the sections you want — instead of an empty box and a blinking cursor.
Choose it once when you set the site up. Every later change keeps it, even when you describe what you want in a different one.
You get real pages, not one enormous file: proper headings, sensible colours and a layout that holds together on a phone as well as a laptop.
“Add our Sunday hours.” “Make the headline shorter.” Only the thing you asked about moves; the rest of the page is left exactly as it was.
Not what you meant? Put the previous version straight back with one click, for an hour after every change. Nothing is regenerated and nothing is charged.
Your history lists each change and what it was for. And if a change ever fails, the site that is already live simply carries on — visitors never see it.
Publishing it
There is no upload step, no hosting to buy and no control panel to learn. The site is already on the internet when you first see it.
Free with every site: yourname.web.portalora.com, working the second the build finishes and yours to share.
The security certificate is arranged, installed and renewed without you knowing it happened. There is no date in your calendar for it.
Point yourshop.com at your site by following a two-line instruction, and the padlock follows it across. One domain per site.
Upload straight from your phone. We resize them, tidy them and quietly remove the location stamp your camera left in the file.
Every file is sent already compressed, and the page behind a link is fetched before it is clicked — so the next page is usually there before the tap lands.
A mistyped address lands on a 404 page in your own design, and your site gets a favicon in your own colours for the browser tab.
Looked after
The unglamorous half of a good website. None of it is a setting you have to find.
yoursite.com/about, never /about.htmlBeing straight with you
Better to know now than after an afternoon of trying.
If your website is mainly there to tell people who you are, where you are and why to get in touch — that is precisely the website this makes.
Describe your business in a few sentences and look at the result. It costs nothing.
